I’m the creative behind the marketing at Swi-tch. I look after content across the business, from filming and editing videos to social media, campaigns and helping bring brands to life. I get to combine my background in animation and video with marketing, so no two days are quite the same!
Meet Lewis Furber
What’s your role at Swi-tch, in your own words, not your job title?
What’s the part of the job you’d happily do all day?
Creating content, without a doubt! Filming, editing, coming up with ideas, turning random bits of footage into something entertaining – that’s the part I could happily do all day.
What were you doing before this – and what did it teach you?
Before Swi-tch, I spent six years at a film and animation agency as an animator, motion designer and video editor. Six years of taking ideas from a rough concept through to a finished piece, working to tight deadlines, adapting to whatever each client needed and finding a creative way round it when things didn’t go to plan . It also taught me that good work is mostly good communication, and that being able to wear a lot of different hats is a skill in itself.
What would we find you doing on a Saturday?
Probably out for a walk or a run, working on something creative, or playing a few video games. I’ll usually have my camera with me too, so there’s a good chance I’m filming something along the way! If I’m having a quieter Saturday, you’ll probably find me at home drawing, editing or working on my own brand, Furbtoonz.
One truth and one lie
I’m the best darts player in the Swi-tch office. I have over 120,000 followers on social media.
